A lot of us have dreams that don’t include our current job. This is not a result of opportunity refusing to knock, but simply because we haven’t been diligent in pursuing our dreams. Proverbs 12:24 reads, “the hand of the diligent will rule but the slack hand will be put to force labor.” The person who is not diligent in pursuing their soulful desires will have a job description that they don’t want!
Why is it that we don’t reach our dreams or satisfy our “Soul Cravings?” Why is it that some of us find ourselves in the same spot week after week, month after month, or even year after year. If we set New Year resolutions we’ve fallen back into our routine or normalcy & mediocrity by month 3, if not 2.
What is it that your soul desires? Do you have things that you long to do?
I know I do. I’m ashamed to say it, but it’s been seven years that I’ have had the desire to write a few books. And to this day, I don’t have any manuscripts close to being finished.
